The noise that affects and is harmful to woodworking engraving machines is mainly manifested in the following two categories:
1. Abnormal noise is emitted when the spindle motor is running.
The generation of such noise proves that there is a quality problem in the spindle bearing or the service life of the spindle bearing has arrived, or the quality is degraded or damaged after wear, and replacement can be considered at this time.
2. Abnormal noise is emitted when walking axially. This type of phenomenon is mostly present on the X axis.
Mostly the axial motor bearing is damaged or the X-axis guide rail lacks lubricating oil, dirty, too tight, ball wear, ball drop, etc., must be handled in time.
Noise problems and solutions of the woodworking machine during the machining of the spindle
As the core part of the CNC woodworking engraving machine, the spindle is the most used and certainly one of the most prone to problems. Due to the long-term high-frequency operation, and the improper use, the spindle is prone to some noise. Then, in the actual operation, how should we deal with some noise from the main shaft?
First, the sound of leaching
The vibration and collision of the retainer and the rolling element are generated regardless of the type of grease, and it is more likely to occur when the torque, load or radial clearance is large.
Solution: Improve the accuracy of the retainer, select the bearing with small clearance or apply preload to the bearing, reduce the torque load, reduce the installation error, and choose good grease.
Second, the sound of sly
When the motor is running without load, it emits a sound similar to a buzzer, and the motor has an abnormal axial vibration, and there is a click when turning on or off.
Solution: Many motors with poor lubrication and ball bearings in winter and at both ends are mainly unstable vibrations caused by axial vibration when the shaft alignment performance is not good.
Third, the impurity sound
Caused by bearings or high-quality cleanliness, an irregular abnormal sound is emitted, sometimes there is no sound, large and small, and occurs frequently on high-speed motors.
Solution: use good grease, improve the cleanliness before grease injection, strengthen the sealing performance of the bearing, and improve the cleanliness of the installation environment.
Fourth, the sound of sly
The sound frequency varies with the bearing speed, and the surface waviness of the part is the main cause of noise.
Solution: Improve the processing quality of the bearing raceway surface, reduce the waviness amplitude, reduce the bump, correct the clearance preload and fit, check the operation of the free end bearing, and improve the precision installation method of the shaft and the bearing housing.
